COVID19 – ISIT is ready to welcome its students for the new academic year 2020

For this year 2020-2021, our focus will be on ensuring sanitary safety as well as on maintaining quality pedagogical interaction – an essential part of the intercultural dialogue that is characteristic of our school.

Strengthened by the mobilization and commitment that the ISIT students, teachers and staff have shown since March 16th, the school is ready to carry on its missions of training and professionalization by organizing the start of the new academic year in 2020 in accordance with a strong motto: “Be vigilant and responsible so that we all can learn and work together”.

In this context, and given the current state of government guidelines, additional measures have been taken.

  • Presential training system: courses for Master’s students will be predominantly held in presential mode due to the importance of interaction, of the professionalization dimension and of group dynamics inherent to the Grande Ecole model. These courses have been structured in such a way as to maximize controlled on-site presence, in order to contribute to the national effort to limit interaction and travel. Teachers will work with small groups in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Hybrid training system: courses in pre-Master level will be accessible in both presential (100%), online (100%) and hybrid mode. Students unable to join the ISIT campus for medical reasons or international circulation will be able to continue their training entirely through online classes.
  • The ISIT staff will be permanently present on site, with a 20% per week systematic teleworking format, operated on a rotational basis
  • The institutional and associative activities of the school will continue in a hybrid logic with presential meetings, online meetings and a combination of both.

In these troubled times and given the ever-changing situation, it is everyone’s duty to act calmly, responsibly and with solidarity. For this reason, the internal rules of our school have been adjusted for employees, students and teachers to encourage appropriate behavior and to promote a spirit of responsibility and mutual trust.

We are confident that everyone’s commitment and flexibility will ensure a new academic year 2020-2021 under the best possible conditions.
