Lawyer-linguist program in a few lines
ISIT’s Grande École program offers 6 specializations, each of which is driven by the strong multilingual and intercultural dimension that is part of ISIT’s DNA.
ISIT graduates with a strong general culture, agile in an international environment, with a solid understanding of intercultural issues, and able to grasp the complexity of globalized organizations and activities.
This specialization prepares lawyers to work in a globalized environment. In accordance with the standards of international higher education, it brings together students from all over the world to learn about the challenges of interculturality as applied to the field of law.

Double degree
This double-degree program is jointly organized with our partner law schools. The linguistic and
intercultural elements of the course are taught at ISIT, while the legal modules take place at
the partner universities.
ISIT has signed two partnerships:
- la Faculté de Droit Jean Monnet – Université Paris Saclay. Un partenariat précurseur signé dès 1978. Conditions spécifiques d’admission à lire ici.
- Paris-Panthéon-Assas Université, depuis la rentrée 2016.

Une priorité : l’insertion professionnelle
Tout au long de la formation à l’ISIT, l’accent est mis sur la professionnalisation des étudiants, sous le pilotage de la Direction de l’insertion professionnelle.
Le parcours d’insertion professionnelle combine une série de dispositifs complémentaires.
Une mise en situation professionnelle des étudiants pour les préparer à l’autonomie, au sens des responsabilités, à l’innovation et à la création d’entreprise .
–Les étudiants qui ne partent pas en échange à l’international en 3e année doivent faire un stage de 8 semaines dans le domaine juridique. (consultez le parcours des stages)
– Des stages intégrés pendant le séjour à l’international sont également possibles.
Des séminaires, ateliers et conférences pour construire et peaufiner son projet professionnel.
– Des conférences professionnelles avec les témoignages de juristes linguistes en activité
– Des tables-rondes « métiers », en particulier sur les carrières au sein de l’Union européenne
– Des conférences de méthodologie sur la construction du projet professionnel
Depuis 2019, un partenariat a été conclu avec Lexis Nexis, l’un des principaux éditeurs juridiques français. Il intègre notamment la co-participation à des séminaires internationaux de recherche et la réalisation de missions de conseil par les étudiants juristes linguiste de l’ISIT.

Languages
Our course is open to candidates with an operational linguistic level in their mother tongue and two other working languages: French and English are compulsory, and the third working language can be chosen from among Arabic, Chinese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish.
Candidates must be enrolled on a law program in Paris-Île-de-France or have completed the equivalent of a law degree.
Degree level
- Admission en 1ère année : BAC ou diplôme équivalent
- 3rd-year entry: have completed your second year of university studies (L2) in law
- 4th-year entry: have completed your third year of university studies (L3) in law
- 5th-year entry: have completed your forth year of university studies (M1) in law
- Partnership with Paris-Panthéon-Assas Université for 1st or 2nd-year. Specific admission conditions to be read here.
