Presentation

Designed for students who have completed two years of higher education (L1–L2 at a university or CPGE), this year of international and multilingual studies serves as a passageway to all our career-oriented master’s programs.

Students entering this program already have an advanced command of French and English (B2 level) and possess a good knowledge of a third language among those taught at ISIT: Arabic, Chinese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Russian or Spanish.

Courses are taught in French and English, plus the third language.

The second semester takes place entirely abroad at a partner university, offering each student the cultural and linguistic immersion essential for their future studies.

This supervised semester of study abroad adds a truly international dimension to our students’ academic journey.

Objectives

The pre-master’s program is built around three pillars:

  • A core curriculum in social sciences and in foreign cultures and languages
  • An exchange semester at a partner university abroad
  • An 8-week internship

In addition, to prepare for their master’s program, students choose a specialization from the following:

  • International Relations
  • Change Management and Intercultural Management
  • Communication, Translation, and Digital Culture

After completing this one-year Pre-Master’s program in International Studies, students proceed directly to one of ISIT’s Master’s programs.

The two-year Master’s program is career-oriented and characterized by the strong international and intercultural focus that is at the core of ISIT’s identity. Our graduates possess a broad general knowledge, a solid understanding of intercultural issues, and the ability to grasp the complexity of organizations and their future evolution.
