Training top-level conference interpreters

Every year, ISIT trains interpreters who are capable of meeting the demands of the institutional and private markets. Thanks to its expertise and the quality of its teaching, our interpreting school ranks among the best in Europe.

The Master in Conference Interpreting is a diploma that is recognized by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, conferring a Master’s degree (Bac+5). The program offers genuine career opportunities, supported by practical projects such as conference simulations, as well as internships which are integrated throughout the course. These experiences ensure rapid and lasting integration into the job market.

International recognition for conference interpreter training

ISIT enjoys international recognition, notably through its accreditation by EMCI (European Master’s in Conference Interpreting) and co-funding by the European Parliament, guaranteeing a program of excellence that is recognized worldwide. Teaching on the course is provided by practicing conference interpreters.

Tailor-made language combinations

We offer a variety of language combinations to suit candidates’ profiles:

  • ABC
  • ABB
  • ABCC
  • ACCC
  • ACCCC
  • AB or AA

AB or AA combinations are only eligible with French and English. French and English are mandatory for all other combinations, whether active or passive. Other languages, in particular those used by international institutions (EU, UN, among others) are taught, subject to demand and the availability of a qualified teaching team.

To apply, go to our application page. Fill in the form and register for an admission session. You must have spent at least one year abroad in a country where the B language is spoken.
