Intercultural management in the workplace?

Intercultural management is a real challenge for international companies, which need to be able to manage an international team with all the human, cultural and transgenerational implications.

Given the diversity of people working in an international company, it must ensure that its employees feel supported, valued and understood in their work. This involves an entire process, from onboarding the candidate, to taking up the position, right through to the end of his or her contract with the company. The company’s management must ensure that employees acquire the cultural codes, cross-generational codes and thought systems of all the individuals in the workplace, in order to optimize the work that will be carried out. Indeed, this diversity of profiles, although a strength within the company, can sometimes prove complicated in the event of conflict (poor understanding, unfulfilled objectives…).
